Rates of  Allowances should be increased by 25% w.e.f. 01.01.2014

Government has hiked Dearness Allowance by 10%, making DA to be 100% from 90%. 

headlines-4314There is a recommendations in 6th CPC that “The rates of following allowances shall automatically increase by 25% whenever the Dearness Allowance payable on the revised pay bands goes up by 50%.”

Rates of these allowances were revised when Dearness Allowance was raised above 50% in 2011.

Now DA has touched 100% therefore Gov Employees asks Government to increase following rates of Allowances by 25% w.e.f.
