Subject:Rotational Transfer of Under Secretaries with five years or more service in the same Ministry/Department as on 01.01.2013.
The undersigned is directed to say that it is proposed to carry out next round rotational transfer of Under Secretaries in the month of June 2013 and officers who have completed five years or more in the same Ministry/ Department as on l.l.2013 will be considered for transfer. The list of such officers is at Annexure-I to this OM. The list does not include officers due for superannuation upto 30.06.2015 as officers within two years of superannuation are excluded from the purview of Rotational Transfer Policy applicable to CSS officers. The list also does not include officers of USSL-2003 who are in the zone of promotion to the next grade.
2. Ministries/ Departments and officers concerned may check the information in Annexure-land bring to the notice of this Department urgently if any other Under Secretary with more than five years of service as on 0l.0l.2013 and not within two years of superannuation as on 30.6.2015 has been left out or if there is any other error/ omission in the list.
3. The Officers indicated in the list are also requested to indicate their preferences for posting in the enclosed format (Annexure-II) which should reach CS.I Division by 05.05.2013. It may be noted that seeking option is only for the purpose of assisting this Department in deciding the posting and this should not in any way be construed as right for claiming posting of choice.
4. Web Based Cadre Management of CSS As Ministries/Departments are aware, this Department has already launched web based cadre management in respect of CSS which is at present hosted at http://lO.21.145.125. Nodal officers of the Ministries have also been given orientation training of the system. The officers covered in this round of rotational transfer should verify the information in their respect in the web based cadre management system and if any error is noticed that should be immediately corrected through the nodal officer of the Ministry/CS.I Division, DoPT. Officers should note that experience data in the system should be correct and upto date. Preference exercised by the officers will only be considered only after the data in their respect is certified by the Ministry/ Department concerned is
correct and upto date.
