Suresh Prabhu will chair important meeting on New Pension Scheme in Railway Board today
Railway employees are demanding to scrap New Pension Scheme in railways. They had lots of expectations from 7th Pay Commission regarding this. Many employees were expecting that 7th cpc would recommend abolishing New Pension Scheme but to much of their disappointment pay commission preferred to remain silent on this issue. All hopes were dashed like a bubble of water. But a ray of hope has emerged when Railway Minister Sh. Suresh Prabhu has asked General Secretaries of both federations to come over to Railway Board for a meeting on New Pension System. It has given a slim hope to Railway employees that matter of abolishing New Pension System from Railways will be taken forward by their Minister.
