|345 Candidates Qualify Assistant Commandants Examination 2012|
Based on the result of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Written Examination, 2012, held by the Union Public Service Commission on 11th November, 2012 and the Personality Test held in July 2013, the following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:-
A total number of 345 candidates have been recommended for appointments which include 160 General, 101 Other Backward Classes, 56 Scheduled Castes and 28 Scheduled Tribes candidates.
The number of vacancies reported for Border Security Force is 94 (49 General, 25 Other backward Classes, 14 Scheduled Castes and 06 Scheduled Tribes); for the Central Reserve Police Force is 168 (85 General, 45 Other backward Classes, 25 Scheduled Castes and 13 Scheduled Tribes); for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force is 28 (15 General, 07 Other backward Classes, 04 Scheduled Castes and 02 Scheduled Tribes); SashastraSeema Bal is 14 (09 General, 03 Other backward Classes, 01 Scheduled Castes and 01 Scheduled Tribes) and for Central Industrial Security Force is 80 (41 General, 21 Other backward Classes, 12 Scheduled Castes and 06 Scheduled Tribes). Appointment to various Services shall be made by the Government in accordance to number of vacancies available and due consideration to the provisions contained in the Rules for the Examination.

In accordance with Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2012, the Commission is maintaining a Consolidated Reserve List of 78 candidates ranking in order of merit below the last recommended candidate under respective categories, which include 39 General, 33 Other Backward Classes, 05 Scheduled Castes and 01 Scheduled Tribes candidates.

Candidates can obtain any information / clarification regarding their examinations / recruitment on the working days between 1000 hrs. to 1700 hrs. in person or over telephone Nos.011- 23385271 / 23381125.
