No. 11037102/2011- AIS (III)
Government of India
Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions
(Department of Personnel & Training)

New Delhi, Dated the 8th May, 2013.

The Chief Secretaries of All the States/UTs
Subject:- Fixation of inter-se-seniority of the IAS probationers of 2008 batch (Provisional) — Intimation regarding.
Sir/ Madam,
I am directed to refer to this Department’s letter of even No. dated 16.01.2012 on the above mentioned subject whereby the provisional inter-se-seniority list of 109 officer trainees was issued.
2. There were 111 IAS officer trainees belonging to 2008 batch. The names of two officers Shri Manoj Kumar (A-M) Cadre and Shri Shyam Vinod Meena (J&K) Cadre could not be incorporated into the provisional inter-se-seniority list as they had not completed Training Programme along with their batch. Now, the Academy has informed that both the probationers have completed their Training Programme. Hence, the final inter-se-seniority list (Annex-A&B) of all the 111 probationers of 2008 batch has been prepared incorporating the names of both the probationers in accordance with Rule 10 (1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954.
3. It is requested that the final inter-se-seniority list of RR IAS officers of 2008 batch may kindly be circulated amongst the concerned members of the Service. While every care has been taken to ensure accuracy in fixation of seniority, discrepancy if any, may kindly be brought to the notice of this Department for necessary action within 1 month from issue of this letter.
4. Hindi version of the letter will follow.

Yours faithfully
Encl:- As above
