Sub: Training of Front line staff in rendering First Aid.

Kindly refer to instructins issued vide this office letter No. E(MPP)/2000/3/8 dated 07.11.2012 (RBE No. 202/2002) regarding imparting trainig in First Aid of Five days   duration for the front line staff of Railways. in addition to the above instructions for   imparting training on First Aid, Medical Care & Trauma Management to railway staff involved in train operation (crew/Guard/SM/Controller/Gangmen/TTE/AC Staff) were issued vide Board’s letter no. E(MPP)2010/3/65 dated 20.01.2012 (RBE No. 11/2012), as part of the one day course on “Threat Perception and Emergency Response”.

Railways are requested to ensure that the above instructions are fully implemented and all concerned staff are adequately trained in rendering First Aid at the time of their deployment at stations & trains.
